He was CEO at Telefónica on the spot Services for 6 years from 2009. He led the transformation and innovation process of the company to make Onthespot a leading company in digital signage solutions

Previous to IoT, Andrés was Head of Corporate Development at Tokbox Inc and Head of Venture Capital Investments at Telefónica in San Francisco

Telecommunication Engineer and EMBA from IE. Entrepreneur inside and outside of Telefónica her passion is to view disruptive ideas and transform them into profitable businesses. Sandra leads Telefónica innovation activities in IoT with focus in start ups, looking for new products and partners for Telefónica, but also to foster the adoption of Telefónica IOT capabilities (Kite, LPWA) through The Thinx lab and the Telefónica IOT Activation programme

Global IoT Platforms & Technology Director of Telefónica IoT since 2015. He provides IoT technology vision for the business units and makes the vision a reality, building in-house global platforms or deploying the best-in-class global technologies with partners. Prior to this position: 6 years in Telefonica On The Spot Services as CTO&COO. Carlos joined Telefonica in 1995, for the launching of P&S in several sectors.

Andrés has worked for more than 19 years in different B2B business areas of Telefónica in the US and LATAM, after his previous position in EADS / Airbus
