Telefónica recognised as a Leader in the 2021 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Managed IoT Connectivity Services, Worldwide, for the seventh time

Madrid, 28 April 2021. Telefónica has been recognised for the seventh time as a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Managed IoT (Internet of Things) Services, Worldwide. This is a report where players in the IoT market are evaluated for their Ability to Execute and Completeness of Vision.

Telefónica has more than 35 million IoT connections worldwide and very strong assets such as Kite, an in-house solution platform to manage IoT devices with a dedicated network infrastructure globally deployed and hosted in the cloud to be accessible everywhere via web or API. IoT, Big Data, Cloud, Blockchain and Cybersecurity services are part of Telefónica Tech, the unit with which Telefónica wants to boost the growth of these digital businesses.
